The nearest channel port to the campsite is Roscoff (just over an hour's drive) , served by regular sailings from Plymouth operated by Brittany Ferries www.brittany-ferries.co.uk.
Brittany Ferries also have routes from Portsmouth to St Malo (21/2 to 3 hours away) to Cherbourg (5hours) or to Caen (5hours)
If you book a sailing directly with Brittany Ferries, and reserve a pitch with us for at least 3 nights) you are entitled to a discount of up to 10% off the full fare. To take advantage of this please contact us, preferably before you book the ferry
Other Ferry operators use routes further east, these crossings are shorter and usually a lot cheaper , but you will have further to drive in France. The roads in France are very good and except in the peak weekends in July and August, rarely very busy. There are no motorway tolls in Brittany.
Two operators have routes from Ireland to Roscoff. Brittany Ferries sail from Cork and Irish Ferries from Rosslaire. www.irishferries.com.
From Roscoff Ferry Port - turn left and follow main route south to the N165 bypassing Landivisiau/ Sizun/La Faou. Cross the bridge in Chateaulin and follow signs for Quimper D770. After 1 kilometre take a left turning at the sign for Saint Coulitz. Drive for a further 100 metres and then turn right into the campsite.
From the south - leave the N165 at first exit for Chateaulin. Follow signs to St Coulitz and then follow campsite signs, when you reach the canal we are about 500m along on the left.

If using GPS enter Saint Coulitz as 'city' and La Pointe as 'street'.
If you are planning a camping holiday in France and travelling from the South west of England, or Ireland our campsite is just minutes from the N165 - the main route to all destinations South , making La Pointe an ideal stopping-off point at the beginning or end of your holiday in France.
