About Camping La Pointe
If you love camping in France and are looking for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings this is the kind of site you are looking for.
Many camping sites in France are packed with chalets and mobile homes, have swimming pools and leisure complexes, and provide nightly entertainment - we do things differently.
We aim to offer every camper a warm personal welcome and a spacious pitch in natural surroundings. Campers are welcome to wander in the woods or sit and relax in our garden, maybe with a chilled beer or glass of wine.
If you are lucky you may spot a red squirrel or deer in the woods surrounding the site, which are also home to a variety of birds - gold crest, tree creepers, wood peckers and tawny owls.
Children can help feed our chickens and collect the eggs.
If you are interested in gardening ask Marcus to show you round the garden and poly tunnel. You are welcome to lend a helping hand! We sell plants and fresh garden produce in season.
We also sell fresh bread and croissant each morning, from a local award winning patisserie.
The campsite is recommended among others by the AA, ACSI. Alan Rogers, Camping Cheques, the Caravan Club and Cool Camping.
